Dr. Joseph is a child and adolescent psychiatrist and investigator at the University of Pittsburgh. Her research interest is in the early detection of inattention in neonates, infants, and toddlers at-risk for ADHD. Additionally, she aims to identify protective and resilience factors, including parent-child interactions, that may serve as points of early intervention to reduce the development of ADHD and associated impairments. When she is not in the lab, she can be seen treating patients at UPMC’s Children’s Hospital of Pittsburgh as part of the Behavioral Health Consultation Liason team.
Dr. Joseph leads the ABC (Attention in Babies and Children) Lab at the Youth and Family Research Program.
